the fact that this guy is still out says a lot about justice system of SL.. no hope

    Hawk Thursday, 01 February 2024 04:01 AM

If the guy behind Easter bombing is freely moving around , the same law should apply to this minister as well .

Arrest All Corrupted Now Thursday, 01 February 2024 04:34 AM

That’s why people are against Ranil for allowing these morons to exist in his government. If he starts to round them up

    D S de Silva Wednesday, 31 January 2024 11:13 PM

The justice system in Sri Lanka is a disgusting mockery. All the thugs and thieves with influence are protected, only the ones who depend on these thugs and the victims are brought to justice just to show the public there is a police and a justice system. Are the police really getting hold of the real crooks? The answer is no. People like tennakoon party in the evening with the realy crooks and thugs, whilst he orders his henchmen to round up the ones who were victimised by these crooks in parliament and else where and put them behind bars. Wickramasinghe appointed the number one crook to be the chief of police, when the guy should be behind bars. So what justice can you expect in Sri Lanka? This is a real mockery and circus.

    Amara Thursday, 01 February 2024 12:18 AM

He (KR) would destroy evidences of the crime. For that only he is asking time.

    Gt Thursday, 01 February 2024 12:29 AM

Can't wait till we have a new gov and all these thieves are behind bars, need to sack all police too and get a fresh batch with brains, morals and the need to pursue justice and not just blindly follow corrupt unconstitutional commands from thieves and murderers

Vijitha Herath Thursday, 01 February 2024 02:01 AM

JVP is coming, are you ready?

Ranil the protector of criminals Thursday, 01 February 2024 02:49 AM

This is all play acting by this corrupt government. Soon Mr "Murder for profit" Keheliya and his family will be enjoying his illgotten wealth in 5 star luxury.

Nilmini Welivita Thursday, 01 February 2024 02:50 AM

I hope you hear the screams of people who died in agony when you close your eyes at night.

    ignatius Thursday, 01 February 2024 03:23 AM

If a laymen was in this situation - he/she would have been locked up till a hearing date was set. Long live Sri lanka.

    Ram Thursday, 01 February 2024 03:41 AM

Once the questioning starts he must not be allowed to go home end of the day but must be provided with facilities to spend the night in the CID. Allowing him to go home he can prepare to answer some of the unanswered issues

Nodaking musslaya Thursday, 01 February 2024 05:09 AM

    How about 31 February 2099?

Kick these scumbags all the way to Welikada Thursday, 01 February 2024 06:26 AM

Innocent protesters are beaten up and put in prison without charge indefinitely, while child killers like this dirtbag gets to set his own agenda with the CID? He might arrange the interview by zoom from a five star hotel somewhere in the world.

Gobba CID Thursday, 01 February 2024 06:36 AM

Why not hold the interrogation over dinner at the Taj Hotel?

    Nihal S Thursday, 01 February 2024 07:01 AM

This guy should be behind bars. Corrupted government influence the legal system in this country.

    Karma Thursday, 01 February 2024 07:10 AM

Did this guy ever ask for alternative option for those whom he 'murdered' ? when he importing substandard medicine- all driven by his naked greed! Hopefully karma will work its due course and make him count bars in his last days.

Tomorrow is a very good date Thursday, 01 February 2024 07:21 AM

Tomorrow is an auspicious and very convenient date for him. Why not use that date? He has 48 hours to recoup his memory.

KR Supporter Thursday, 01 February 2024 07:30 AM

Keheliya is a patriotic man. He obtained huge Commissions from Black-listed drug companies. This hard-earned money will help Sri Lankas' economy. He also got some sort of Humanimmunoglobin without any medicinal value manufactured in Sri Lanka instead of importing it from India. That was also done to save money for Sri Lanka. Keheliya should be respected and be fossilized and put in the Museum in Sri Lanka.

    Sivalingam Thursday, 01 February 2024 07:52 AM

    @ruwan; what justice system ?

Dulanjoli Premadosa Thursday, 01 February 2024 07:54 AM

    Kehel, the plot thickens.

Be Fair Thursday, 01 February 2024 08:05 AM

ARREST HIM. Why the special privileges' to him ?

melville perera Thursday, 01 February 2024 08:18 AM

These are ministers who are concerned about the welfare of the general public and shout out like mad dogs in parliament when issues affecting the public are questioned and here is a minister responsible for several medical deaths on the subject he handled during his tenure asking for time to comply with the CID - in short he should be stripped of his parliament previledges till the case is over. As the saying goes THE LAW RESPECTS NO ONE - How come politicians are exempted

Sisil Sudesh Thursday, 01 February 2024 08:53 AM

Why does the CID treat this fellow with kid-gloves? He was first questioned at home. Now he is dodging to come. In case the police charge him for fraud, it is likely that the case will drag on for decades without being heard, like some famous cases during the yahapalana government. Sick of the situation.

    joshua Thursday, 01 February 2024 09:06 AM

why more time? is he having loose motion?

    Amaran Thursday, 01 February 2024 09:09 AM

    Arrest this Robber.

    Sokrates Thursday, 01 February 2024 09:16 AM

The main culprit in this fraud and corruption scandal that has already cost lives has still not been arrested. This is the biggest scandal in this matter. Now he also asks for time, probably to transfer his wealth out of the country and then flee the country.

    BuffaloaCitizen Thursday, 01 February 2024 11:16 AM

Despite all this, there are lakhs who will vote for this crook. This culture will not disappear for thousand years.

    Amaran Thursday, 01 February 2024 02:14 PM

    Very very true. Mooda fellows.

    A Good Citizen Friday, 02 February 2024 08:35 AM

He is seeking more days to gather more lies to save him from the punishment he is facing. Justice system in Sri Lanka, this is only chance you all have to prove that to the public, you all are not corrupted like him or biased! Then it will be a good start!
