IUSF protest tear-gassed

Police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the protesting university students at the Lotus Roundabout in Colombo a short while ago, police said.

Heavy traffic was reported in and around the area as a result of the protest carried out by the Inter-University Students' Federation (IUSF).
