ITAK gains victory in Manthai East PS

Colombo, May 6 (Daily Mirror) - The Illankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK) has claimed victory in the Manthai East Pradeshiya Sabha in the Mullaitivu District.

Accordingly, the ITAK secured 1,364 votes and obtained 4 seats while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya polled 990 votes and secured 3 seats.

Meanwhile, the All Ceylon Tamil Congress gained 808 votes and won two seats while the National People’s Power obtained 607 votes and won two seats.
