Colombo, July 24 (Daily Mirror) - Deputy Minister Mahinda Jayasinghe told Parliament today that he has become a social media hit after going wrong when reciting ‘Lowada Sangarawa’ which is a Sinhala verse, the other day.

"Thank you all those who uploaded social media posts. I am happy that one can oppose us only if we go wrong in reciting verses. No one has accused us of robbing public property," he said.

It's been only 8 months for your Govt. dear Minister, whereas previous Govts. had years and years to perfect the art of stealing. Give it time and I'm sure your people will not be able to resist the urge. But of course, you will have to govern for at least 2-3 years and start some high-end projects (not morturies and 2nd floor classrooms) that will garner good commissions. So bring it on Minister, its your time now.
