Hundreds rally in Colombo against Israel’s attacks on Palestine

Colombo, August 15 (Daily Mirror) - Hundreds of Sri Lankans took to the streets of Colombo today in a protest organised by the Sri Lanka Unite for Palestine movement, demanding an immediate end to Israel’s attacks on Palestine.

The march and rally, which drew participants from various civil society groups, saw the involvement of several government MPs, including Deputy Speaker of Parliament Dr. Rizvie Salih.

Protesters condemned the mass killing of children and women in the conflict, calling for urgent international action to halt the violence

In Canada recently a protest rally was sponsored by CUPE ( Canadian Union of Public Employees) the protest have nothing to do with Canadian public employees. However it was sponsored by the global sponsor of T*****sm. And the CUPE union leaders were rewarded handsomely monetarily.

This country have one of the worst human Rights record. Kids are facing malnutrition. Legal system is very weak. POLICE ARE CURRUPTED TO THE CORE. Politicians bankrupt the country. Couple of years ago The country had no food no water no electricity no medicine no gas no fuel AND THIS WAS LIVING HELL. IRONICALLY NOTTA SINGLE LANKAN PROTESTED.

Difference is mate, nobody was shooting at women and children, starving people to death, bombing refugee camps, hospitals and ambulances, stopping aid trucks or flattening the infrastructure! So, deflect as much as you want, we know what is happening and we don’t like it!

People try to resolve the problems in Sri Lanka, don't worry about what is happening in the Mideast. It's non of your concern. However if you're given a Rice packet and Arrack, why not!! Most Lankans will stoop to any level??
