Hrithik Roshan arrives in Colombo

Famous Indian actor Hrithik Roshan arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this evening to attend the grand opening ceremony of the Cinnamon City of Dreams Hotel in Colombo.

Roshan, who is in the country for a brief one-day visit, touched down at BIA at 5.10 p.m. on a special flight from India.

He was accompanied by a group of eight supporting actors. Tight security and airport protocols were in place to welcome the Bollywood star and his entourage.

If memory is correct this actor was here for some thing during Rajapaksa regime and I could remember Normal was hanging around him.

Hrithik Roshan the heart throb of Bollywood cinema must have seen a picture of th City of Dreams resembling a box of cards falling apart and was not quite impressed and properly dressed as he arrived at the airport for the opening ceremony. He must have thought it's just an ordinary hotel compared to India''s pestigious ITC Ratnadipa in the vicinity which is currently the cynosure of all eyes by day and by night on Galle Road ..

I dont understand why srilanka is wasting money on these filmstars. I understand if they come for shooting it benefits srilankan economy. To invite a filmstar to open a hotel by spending money on special flight is a sheer waste of money.
