Hotel manager falls to death from Rawana Ella mountain

Ella, Feb. 23 (Daily Mirror)- A 32-year-old manager of a tourist hotel in Ella died after falling down a precipice while on a hiking expedition in Rawana Ella mountain yesterday afternoon.

He was pronounced dead on admission to the Wellawaya Hospital.

The victim had gone hiking with a friend and while descending the mountain he had slipped off a rock and fallen down a 100 feet precipice.

The victim is a resident of Moragolla, Beruwala and a father of a 10-year-old child.

Very tragic especially for the child. When people get married don't take unnecessary risks to entertain yourself with friends. Stay family oriented for the sake of the spouse and kids. Hiking is good and should be done in a safe trail. Otherwise count the cost.
