Heat index forecast warns of caution levels for 14 districts
Colombo, April 14 (Daily Mirror) - While issuing a warm weather advisory today, the Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre of the Meteorology Department said that the temperature felt by the human body is expected to rise to caution levels.
According to the latest report, the Northern, North-Central, North-Western, Eastern, and Uva provinces, along with the Hambantota district, have been identified as areas experiencing heat caution levels.
Temperatures are projected to reach caution levels in 14 districts.
