Trade Union Leaders like Ravi Kumudesh must be made to put in at least 50% of the hours that other members put in. They receive a PIN PADI and do not work citing trade union activity

Please dont resort to strike action as you have seen the IMF statement issued by IMF what happens to the country's economy if the salary increase is granted. Act responsibly as this government is cutting down all the wasteful expenditure and even refusing to accept allowances giving to them on official foreign visits.

Government hospitals across the country are overwhelmed, with patients enduring interminable waits merely to consult a doctor. Nowhere is this crisis more evident than at Colombo General Hospital, where the sight of endless queues has become a distressing spectacle. Meanwhile, private hospitals have proliferated, capitalizing on the inefficiencies of the public sector by imposing exorbitant fees that remain beyond the reach of the average citizen. This situation mirrors the commercialization of education, where schoolteachers prioritize lucrative tuition classes over their fundamental duties. The GMOA must recognize that the public is not oblivious to these machinations; people are acutely aware of the underlying motives at play.
