Colombo, March 11 (Daily Mirror) - Health Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa urged all print and digital media to respect the privacy of the lady doctor involved in the unfortunate incident at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital by refraining from disclosing her identity.

In an X post, he condemned the alleged sexual assault on the female doctor.

Privacy matters only for those victims from the well-to-do class? It's no secret that sexual assault victims, even minors, are humiliated by the very people who are supposed to help them.

There was a time we could absorb people with rapist and murderous tendencies in to our army and let them run amok in the North and East. Sadly this is no longer possible due to geopolitics and our increasing dependence of overseas institutions. Now these people are wrecking havoc within our own communities

I don't think the victim's identity is the issue here. Who assaulted her? A patient, a colleague or fellow worker, a politician. There is a bit of secrecy going on in here but can't be Rajapaksha on Ac.
