Colombo, Jan. 12 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lankan cricketer Wanindu Hasaranga made headlines today as he claimed the fifth-best men's One Day International (ODI) bowling figures in a thrilling match against Zimbabwe.
Wanindu Hasaranga, the spin maestro from Sri Lanka, marked a triumphant return to international cricket by delivering outstanding figures of 7/19.
The figures represent the second-best performance by a Sri Lankan bowler, trailing only Chaminda Vaas's extraordinary 8/19 achieved against the same opposition 23 years ago – a record that still holds the title for the best in men's ODI history.
Both teams will now redirect their attention to an impending three-match T20I series scheduled to kick off on January 14 in Colombo.

Wait until he plays real Cricketers.

He would have been second on the list if not for that no-ball he bowled, where the free hit went for a six.

As 1996 and 2014 world cup winner, Srilanka must be playing more matches with India and Pakistan than Zim and BD. It looks like covering the recent terrible performances.

It is too early to make superiority of our players because Zimbabwe is not a strong team in comparison with other teams in world.

Greedy bugger. Only plays for his money. Not for country. Srilanka cricket continues to go through Doom tunnel with egotistical players like these.
