Colombo, March 25 (Daily Mirror) - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Harsha de Silva today questioned the remark made by Presidential Adviser Duminda Hulangamuwa who had said there has been no conflict of Interest in getting E&Y and him being an adviser to the government.

"Hulangamuwa says there is no conflict of interest in him being the Partner at E&Y and his role as chief econ advisor to the GOSL. He says he had (insider) information on all matters in the IMF negotiations and has full access to data/strategy. If E&Y was a juice company it’s ok, but he himself says it is the largest financial advisory in Sri Lanka," Dr. De Silva said.

Yes this is true conflict of interest, recent time Australian govt raised their concerns over PWC for their non ethical conduct. These consultancy firms with access of all public data , with modern technology they can create any thing in the society , As an independent viewer this will be ended up Arjuna mahendran 2 , or worst , people eventually direct finger to ruling political party , but the real culprits are these 2 headed people. Yes he should resign from all other private portfolios if really want serve the country.

You need to get a GPA of at least 3.8 (95%) to be admitted. Harsha is an accomplished economist having held top posts in DFCC. He was the . He was co-founder and Joint Managing Director of Nielsen Company. I am not a fan of Harsha because among other things he promoted tax cuts for professionals. . Hulangamuwa, like Cabaral, is an Accountant with no education or job experience in economics. ADK is foolish to appoint an Accountant as Hulangamuwas as the chief economic advisor to the GOSL. With regard to conflict of interest, Hulanganuwa's statement denying it is self serving and idiotic.
