Happy to be called ’’Podi Mynah’’: Namal
Claiming that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was being attacked using internet which was brought in by himself, Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa said he was happy to be called 'Podi Mynah".
He said people in the internet criticise Mahinda Rajapaksa as 'Naaki Mynah and he as "Podi Mynah" and that he was happy to be called as such as people accepted him as Mahinda Rajapaksa's son.
"There was internet only for 5% of the people in 2005. People today use internet introduced by Mahinda Rajapaksa to call him "Naaki Mynah," he said.
MP Rajapaksa said some UNPers had perturbed after claims that Ranil Wickremesinghe was rehabilitated and added that it was a fact that should be accepted.
"Ranil Wickremesinghe is not loyal to the West now, as he used to be.
He is not acting acccording to the wishes of the Embassies.
He is no longer talking of human rights. Even though Gotabaya Rajapaksa respected human rights, Ranil Wickremesinghe wiped out the Galle Face Aragalaya," he said.
