Hand grenades recovered at Beliatta Temple

Tangalle, January 28 (Daily Mirror) - An investigation was launched after two hand grenades were found at a temple in Beliatta, Tangalle. 

Police said an explosion was reported at the temple while renovations were underway using a tractor. Following a search of the area, two unexploded hand grenades were discovered.

Beliatte Police, who initiated the investigation, informed the Tangalle Magistrate's Court about the discovery. 

Later, the Special Task Force was called in to safely defuse the grenades.
