Colombo, April 10 (Daily Mirror) - This government will not lay their hands on either Mahinda Rajapaksa or Ranil Wickremesinghe though they brag about apprehending robbers, MP Chamara Samapth Dassanayake told Parliament.
"You will only catch few small fish instead of big ones. I am the only sitting MP which the present government has arrested," MP Dassanayake added.
He said the Beragala detention camp was the most dangerous though the government is harping only on Batalanda.

Actually it was Mahinda and Ranil who did the "initial dirty work" that has led to India obtaining a controlling defence pact with Sri Lanka and in addition India now demanding a land connectivity with our country .These two men have committed treachery against Sri Lanka and this is more serious than robing the country while in power. Chamara must provide names of JVPers involved in 1971 and 1989 activities, if anyone is in Parliament action can be taken. There are JVPer alive who spent time in jail. They have paid for their crimes. The present lot in Parliament I guess have not been involved in damaging Public Property etc. When the JVPers realised that their approach was wrong they gave up violence and contested. About 40 of them entered Parliament once. Batalanda was never investigated and if anyone involved in the crimes committed there is alive it is fair to take action against them
