Govt. responds to reports on employees salary cut

There is no truth in the reports spread through social media that the salary of government employees will be curtailed from next month, State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said.

The State Minister said that the government has not taken such a decision at all.

While condemning such campaigns carried out by certain people to provoke the people of the country, Minister Siambalapitiya said that public servants jobs will be secured. (DSB)

Government can print more and more money as it like ...this is what it has done to us ..mere mismanagement and utter political failure and yet sham to see this country is going down day by day and yet no one take responsibility for this mess

There is always a group who will run a canteen even in a funeral house. For them it is business as usual. These people enjoy the tragedy of others. Former rulers and their parasite followers are such canteen operators. They throw a spanner at every move the govt. takes, to sabotage recovery. Let the dogs bark but the caravan must move on. Because barking dogs, don't ding dong bite.

if what the minister suggests about public servants jobs then same should be for CEB, SLTB and CPC. Sri Lankan airlines another loss maker should be made safe too. No improvement to the country now.
