Govt ready to work against local culture, religion for its survival: Namal

Colombo, Jan. 25 (Daily Mirror) - The present government is ready to work against the local culture and religions for its survival, SLPP National Organiser Namal Rajapaksa said.

He said Minister K.D. Lalkantha has confirmed this fact through his latest remarks.

"Minister Lalkantha has said he would attack those who are wearing coats. Also, he has said they won't care about those who wear saffron robes. This means that those in the government are willing to destroy the local culture and religions for their survival," Rajapaksa told a media briefing.
