The government must pay attention to every minute detail and cannot afford to maintain a non-aligned stance while pretending, "Oh, we don't know; we are good people." Don't make me regret my vote. Comrade check with constitutional experts whether any government can give directives to the speaker of the house. My understanding is speaker is totally independent and not subject to government wants. He should be able to do what is right not what government thinks is right. I am not sure this is right. I quote DM...... ...... "He told the weekly briefing to announce Cabinet decisions that Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayake also requested the Speaker in Parliament yesterday to take action against him."........Unquote. If this trend continues it is a bad omen for parliamentary democracy.

All these ruling politicians have an axe to grind with Ramanathan Archchuna because he is a voice of the Jaffna public who does not mince his words but tries to draw the attention of the house on certain matters which is relevant to the problems faced by the public of Jaffna which some politicians feels that as a new comer to politics he should keep silent and not be a debater as the other ruling politicians adopt a pin drop silence as they fear that they will get exposed when answers given have bowled them out which shows lack of the gift of the gab with stupid answers like monkeys being eletrocuted for total darkness whilst some go ahead and tell the public to tell lies. Remember that this politician has the capacity to be Doctor but whereas the others manipulate by getting forged certificates of being fake doctors. Let the public decide who stands out!!!!!!!

The Dr MP is forthright in his parliamentary address. Many have never seen such a powerful expressions in parliament. Those who complain are poorly educated bribe takers. They are involved in corruptions in the past year. They are unable to face, listen and understand the intergrity of this young MP.

At the same time, investigate into the case of the missing PhD certificate of Doctor Ashoka Ranwala, which he said will be submitted as soon as he got it from Japan. It is more than three months since the poor doctor resigned, and the cruel Japanese have so far not sent it. Wonder if they are sending it by a sailing ship? In the meantime, we can get his BSc Engineering degree certificate from Katubedda, which is not far and could be obtained easily.

Unless a military junta or a dictator, a democratic govt cannot do as you say by a flick of a switch. It takes time and this govt came in for five years. There are legal provisions or need to introduce new legislation and regulations and must follow due process, Give them about another year to get all these done. Observe their sincerity and transparency and no corruption at least for time being while the opposition is asking for things they should have done, in five months from this govt..
