Girl goes missing in Attanagalu Oya while taking selfie

A 20-year-old girl who had gone for a bath in the Attanagalu Oya has gone missing after she slid down a slope and fell into the river while taking a selfie, Police said.

The girl is a resident of the Gunasinghepura Housing Complex in Pettah.

She met with the tragedy while visiting her relatives in Thihariya.

The girl, together with some of her relatives had gone to bathe in the Attanagalu Oya yesterday afternoon when she had slid down a slope and fallen into the river.
