Gazette notifications are inactive these days sine the rule of GR. as per him what he said verbally should be taken as a gazette notification. This has become a joke now.

Why not you tell the Maha Banu Hora ( the way you identified Ranil prior to the election) to sell the president's house in Nuwara Eliya instead of selling the post office.

May be this Gazette would declare on the issue of that heritage building the Post Office at Nuweraeliya ..to maintain it as an iconic Post office or turn it to a hotel ? Hopefully not , for a Post Office with history is always a post office is it not ?It is an experience and an education ..UK is still proud of their red post boxes , though its the e-mail age today .

As the Govt.in power pls make all Govt.services as Essential Service like a General Indemnity for a period of say six months.suddenly imposing as Essential service to a Striker whether he is right or wrong is very disheartening.After all they are people who vote a Govt.to come to power.
