If the customs charged relevant duties as per B/L then why didn't the government just declared for public interest the matter would have been closed then and there. If the duties were not collected then it is a different matter. Secrecy led people to think of corruption which is not unreasonable. All clean comrades should initiate a CID investigation and bring the case to a close.
