Fuel prices revised from tonight

Colombo, Nov.30 (Daily Mirror) - The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), Lanka IOC (LIOC) and Sinopec franchise filling stations have decided to revise their fuel prices with effect from midnight today.

Accordingly, a litre of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane (Rs. 356) has been reduced by Rs. 10, and its new retail price will be Rs. 346.

A litre of Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4 (Rs. 423) has been increased by Rs. 3, and its new retail price will be Rs. 426.

A litre of Lanka Auto Diesel (Rs. 356) has been reduced by Rs. 27, and its new retail price will be Rs. 329.

A litre of Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4 (Rs. 431) has been increased by Rs. 3, and its new retail price will be Rs. 434.

A litre of Lanka Kerosene (Rs. 249) has been reduced by Rs. 2, and its new retail price will be Rs. 247.

Meanwhile, the fuel prices of the Sinopec-operated filling stations and LIOC will also be revised from tonight.

Accordingly, a litre of Petrol 92 Octane has been reduced by Rs. 10, and its new retail price will be Rs. 346.

The auto diesel price has been reduced by Rs. 27, and its new retail price will be Rs. 329.

A litre of Petrol 95 Octane has been increased by Rs. 3, and its new retail price will be Rs. 426.

The price of Super Diesel has been increased by Rs. 3, and its new retail price will be Rs. 434.

Except a few items that have been reduced rest is increased. If the items reduced are checked for the last increase that is more than the reduction. This is an eye wash. This is a ruse adopted to cheat all of us

Lpbo will increase bus fares from midnight, also 3 wheeler fares will be increased. To fall in line, the canteens will increase rices packets and tea prices. Bakery owners will also increase because of the intended tax hike. Pavement hawkers will also increase prices due to VAT being increased by 18%

We always see fuel prices going up and coming down even with world prices going up. Thanks to the Govt.for this good gesture.!!!!! But prices of all Goods are going up and up daily and no downward trend!!

Very glad to hear the Price Reduction, please stop corruptions at CPC and bring down the Petrol price to Rs.200/- a litre and make Kerosene price to Rs.150 per litre. Thus the cost of living will be affordable to ALL.

It is essential to avoid Sinopec and Shell as those are for commissions for Kanchana unless the price is considerably less.

Seems like the fuel price roller coaster is trying to give everyone a wild ride! From recent Western data, it's evident that inflation is coming down. If madman Putin stops the war, we'll feel this firsthand. Let's hope for a smoother road ahead where prices stabilize, giving our pockets a much-needed breather. With the world calming down and a sprinkle of peace, perhaps our wallets will start singing a happier tune!

Kanchana told that there would be a competition and the prices will get reduced. Not happened other than tactical mere Rs. 3. They had bought the right in SLfor a nominal price as it is the case in SL as a custom. That's why didn't go for a transparent procurement. It is what that can be seen, when analysed.
