Free vocational training for children of workers: Manusha
The Labour and Foreign Employment Ministry has decided to provide free vocational training for the children of the local working community, targeting global job market.
While addressing a meeting, he said the priority will be given to the children of the families of the workers who have lost their jobs.
The decision was taken by the Minister Manusha Nanayakkara following a discussion held at the Ministry this morning.
The Minister further instructed the officials to implement a series of mobile services to be conducted in free trade zones with the intervention of the Ministry to solve the problems faced by the workers. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
