Four new entry lanes open at Seeduwa Interchange

Colombo, Dec. 23 (Daily Mirror) - The Road Development Authority (RDA) has opened four new entry lanes at the Seeduwa Interchange on the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway, effective December 23, 2025, to improve traffic flow and commuter convenience.

The new lanes include one Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) lane operating 24 hours a day, along with three ticket lanes for standard toll collection. The initiative aims to minimize delays for the thousands of vehicles using the expressway daily.

To prevent misuse of the ETC lane, which has previously caused delays, the lane has been clearly marked in blue, and a speed limit of 15 km/h has been imposed within the lane.
