Four drown in tragic incident in Polonnaruwa
Colombo, June 8 (Daily Mirror) - Four individuals drowned today while bathing in the Ellewewa reservoir in Polonnaruwa, police reported.
The victims were part of a group who had travelled from Ratmalana to visit relatives in the Dimbulagala area.
According to authorities, the incident occurred when several members of the group entered the water for a swim.
Dimbulagala Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
