The Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage today ordered the Fort Police to record a statement from former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

regarding ongoing investigations into sum of Rs. 17.8 Million recovered by protesters inside President's House on 9th July. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)

I guess Gota had bundles of money hidden away inside gunny bags under his mattress. under the kitchen sink, in the toilet, inside the sewer under the chimney etc. when he fled from the Presidental Palace in the dead of night but the Aragalakarayo were too smart and spoilt his plans.
