Former Trade Secretary arrested over Mahapola Lottery corruption

Colombo, Feb. 24 (Daily Mirror) - Former Secretary to the Ministry of Trade, Priyanka Madduma Bandara, has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), the Commission said.

The arrest, along with two others, relates to alleged corrupt practices during the selection of a supplier for the Mahapola online lottery, according to CIABOC.
