Former Navy Commander Ulugetenne remanded

Colombo, July 28 (Daily Mirror) - Former Navy Commander Admiral (Rtd) Nishantha Ulugetenne was remanded till July 30 by the Polgahawela Magistrate’s Court.

He was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with an investigation into a kidnapping incident in the Pothuhera area.

The alleged incident dates back to the period when Ulugetenne served as the Director of Naval Intelligence.
