Former Health Secretary granted bail

Colombo, July 8 (Daily Mirror) - Former Health Ministry Secretary Janaka Sri Chandragupta was released on bail in connection with an ongoing investigation into the alleged accumulation of illicit assets.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali Jayatunga granted bail with three sureties of Rs. 5 million each and imposed a travel ban on the suspect.
