Former Commissioner General of Motor Traffic arrested

Colombo, July 1 (Daily Mirror) - Former Commissioner General of Motor Traffic, Nishantha Weerasinghe and two others were arrested today by the Bribery Commission.

They were arrested over an ongoing investigation into the illegal regsitration of vehicles at the Department of Motor Traffic.

The suspects are to be produced in Colombo Chief magistrate's Courts today.
