Five drown as boat capsizes in Periyakulam

Three men and two women drowned in the Periyakulam Tank in Nilaveli this morning when their boat capsized, the Police said.

Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said the boat capsized while they were plucking lotus flowers at the tank.

The Nilaveli Police are investigating.
