Five Kegalle Prison inmates escape

Five inmates of the Kegalle Prison who were taken to the Kegalle Magistrate’s Court for their respective cases are reported to have escaped from police custody.


Police said one of them was later re-captured and investigations have been launched to arrest the other escapees.
