Fifteen-year-old girl missing from Bandaragama

Colombo, Jan. 21 (Daily Mirror) - Bandaragama Police have sought public assistance to trace a 15-year-old girl reported missing from the Gangamuwa area in Bandaragama since December last year.

According to police, a complaint was lodged by the girl’s mother at the Bandaragama Police Station on December 19, 2025, stating that the girl had left home without informing her family and has not returned since.

Police said the girl is identified as resident of No. 89/03/03, Weerakeppetipola Mawatha, Gangamuwa, Bandaragama.

Police have released photographs of the missing girl and urge anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to immediately contact the Officer-In-Charge (OIC) of the Bandaragama Police over telephone number 071-8591681 or the Bandaragama Police Station on 038-2290222.
