Female jailer arrested for possession of suspected pills
A female jailer of the Welikada prison was arrested by the STF for possession of suspected drug pills.
The STF said that a female jailer who entered the prison in possession of some suspicious pills had tried to swallow the pills after women STF officers tried to inspect her on suspicion.
The arrested jailer was handed over to the prison officials and the pills were submitted to the prison hospital doctors to check whether they are medicinal pills or drug pills.
