FLSP activists test Covid positive inside remand prison: Party Secretary

Frontline Socialist Party (FLSP) activists have been infected with COVID 19 from others in the remand prison, FLSP Secretary Educational Affairs, Pubudu Jayagoda said.

"Convener of the IUSF Wasantha Mudalige, Student Union leader of the Jayawardenepura University Amila Sandeepa and  Administrative Secretary of the Frontline Socialist Party Chameera Koswatta had contracted COVID-19 inside the remand prison," Jayagoda said. 

"Prison cell is a highly vulnerable place where COVID can spread easily from one to another," he added. (Yohan Perera)
