Electricity Engineers’ Union to waive work regulations
Colombo, October 6 (Daily Mirror) - The Electricity Engineers' Union has decided to waive all work regulations starting from 4:15 p.m. today, Samagi Joint Trade Union Alliance convenor Ananda Palitha said.
Speaking to the media, Palitha emphasized that the decision was not made arbitrarily, but after formally notifying all responsible parties through written documents.
He added that the documents clearly outline the reasons behind the union’s decision to suspend adherence to work regulations from this evening.
