Eighty oxygen cylinders stolen from Polonnaruwa Hospital, six arrested
Six suspects were arrested over the theft and sale of at least 80 cylinders of oxygen from the Polonnaruwa General Hospital, Police said.
The suspects include a staff of the hospital as well as five others employed by an oxygen supplier. At least 208 cylinders had been reported missing since March 2020, according to a complaint lodged by the Hospital Director.
