What an andare solution is this? If the officers had connection with criminals and drug Lords, shouldn't they be kicked out if police and arrested? If you transfer, they will start the business in the new area.

No point in transferring Heads. [Olu gedi]. They must be held accountable for their wrong doings. Public is paying salaries for them to feed their families.

These transfers do not work, the corrupt crooks are still in service. They should be kicked out or even arrested for the wrong they have done. Stop this nonsense of transferring because the shit is still there and only got transferred.

These transfers make me wonder: 1. Are these transfers made for election purposes? 2. We do not have an ethnic balance in senior police officers' positions. Why not implement future recruitments to be strictly based on the % of ethnic mix in the country? 3. Have the politicians requested these transfers? 4. Has Deshabandu taken revange on some?

WHY NO REASON FOR TRANSFERS, LOOKS LIKE A STUNT BEFORE THE FORTHCOMING ELECTIONS, THIS MANY TRANSFERED IS STRANGE, LOOKS LIKE AN AGENDA BEHIND THIS MOVE. IF THEY HAD MISUSED THIER POSITIONS THEY SOULD HAVE BEEN SENT ON LEAVE WITHOUT WAGES UNTIL THE MATTER/S WERE INVESTIGATED AND THOSE FOUND GUILTY BROUGHT BEFORE A COURT OF LAW, SO IT IS LEFT TO READERS IMMAGINATION AND OBVIOUSLY. ALL THESE NEW APPOINTMENTS, TRANSFERS SPEAKS VOLUMES.

Is it that all these transferred officers have links with the underworld and drug king pings. What has become of the Sri Lanka Police. Shame.

They should be SACKED! Not transferred. Better still, they should be in prison. Isn't bribery and corruption a punishable offence in Sri Lanka?
