Education Ministry issues 2026 examination schedule

Colombo, Sept. 14 (Daily Mirror) - The Education Ministry has released the examination timetable for the year 2026.

Accordingly, the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination 2025 (2026) will be held from February 17 to February 26, 2026.

The GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examination has been scheduled from August 10 to September 5, 2026, while the Grade Five Scholarship Examination will be held on August 9, 2026.

The General Information Technology (GIT) Examination will take place on October 24, 2026, and the GCE O/L Examination for the year 2026 will be conducted from December 8 to December 17, 2026.
