Earthquake in Bangkok: SL Embassy monitors situation; no incidents reported

The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Bangkok is closely monitoring the aftermath of the earthquake that struck Thailand, in coordination with Thai authorities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today.

As of now, no adverse incidents involving Sri Lankan citizens have been reported. 

The embassy remains vigilant and continues to assess the situation to ensure the safety of Sri Lankans residing in or visiting Thailand.

Sri Lankan nationals in Thailand are advised to stay alert and, in case of an emergency, contact the embassy’s hotline at +66 812498011 for assistance.
