Driver arrested for sending nude pics to female officer
A driver who is working for a ministry was taken into custody by Veyangoda police today for sending pornographic pictures and exposing his person on video calls through WhatsApp to a retired Administrative Officer of the ministry.
The 61-year-old spinster was a resident of Divulapitiya area and the 48-year-old suspect is from Badulla area and a father of three children.
Investigations revealed that he worked as the driver of the said Administrative Officer’s official vehicle when she was in the service.
A senior police official said the suspect would be produced in court on the charge of producing and displaying pornography which is considered sexual abuse.
Veyangoda police are conducting further investigations.(Pushpakumara Mallawarachchi)
