Colombo, July 15 (Daily Mirror) - Specialist neurosurgeon Dr Maheshi Wijerathna of the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital was released on bail over allegations of corruption.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali Jayathunga granted bail to the suspect a cash bail of Rs. 50,000 and three sureties of Rs. 5 million each.

The Magistrate also imposed a travel ban on the suspect and ordered that she is not permitted to enter the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital.
