Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Leader Sajith Premadasa today urged the government to handover the mechanism that has been established for providing relief to people during the present COVID-19 crisis, to the public servants.

"Involving policticians in this mechanism has resulted in politicization of the mechanism," Mr Premadasa said.

"Only associates of politicians are being provided relief when when political leadership is involved in relief distribution process," he alleged. (Yohan Perera)
