Doctors call off strike at Ratnapura Hospital
Colombo, Sept. 4 (Daily Mirror) - The three-day strike launched by doctors at the Ratnapura Teaching Hospital was called off at noon today (04), the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) said.
According to the GMOA, the decision followed the issuance of a letter by the Secretary to the Ministry of Health removing the hospital’s Director from his post and reassigning him to the Ministry of Health.
