Dhammika Perera to be sworn as MP tomorrow

Business tycoon Dhammika Perera is to be sworn as a member of parliament before Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana,Parliament sources said today.

Sergeant-at-arms Narendra Fernando told the Daily Mirror that they have been advised to make arrangements for the swearing in ceremony of Mr. Perera today.

“He is expected to be sworn in at 10:00 am today,” Mr.Fernando said.

He will be coming in as a national list MP in place of former Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa who resigned from Parliament recently.

Mr, Perera is also expected to be given the ministerial portfolio of Investment Promotion. (Yohan Perera)

This is not a Democracy. THIS IS ILLEGAL. THIS MAN HAS NO MANDATE WHAT SO EVER TO ENTER PARLIAMENT LIKE THIS. These criminals in the parliament carry on regardless. They know very well the Despot has the judiciary under his jackboot. We will be watching if any other parliamentarian object to this. If NOT we can assume they all are pulling wool over our eyes. Question is how long this will go on? International Community PLEASE rescue the nation of Sri Lanka at least now. This call is in DESPERATION.
