Colombo, Oct. 7 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors’ Association has warned that the ongoing heavy rainfalls could lead to a rise in Dengue and Chikungunya cases.
Association President Pulina Ranasinghe stated that the Western and Southern Provinces face a higher risk of these diseases spreading.
Ranasinghe also shared details on the steps being taken to prevent the spread of these mosquito-borne illnesses and called for public cooperation in controlling mosquito breeding.
