Debate on no-confidence motion on Keheliya next week

The debate on the no-confidence motion on Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has been scheduled for September 6, 7 and 8, the Communication Department of Parliament said.

The decision has been taken at the Business Committee meeting a short while ago.

The vote on the no-confidence motion will be taken at 5.30 pm on Friday (8).

Parliament will convene from September 5 to 8. (Ajith Siriwardana)

What is the purpose of this debate? Is it to punish him in some legal manner? If so, go ahead. If it is to sack him from his minister post, then Ranil can do it with a simple letter. Don't waste money please.
