Death toll rises to 47 amid widespread adverse weather

Colombo. Nov. 27 (Daily Mirror) - The Disaster Management Center (DMC) has reported that the death toll from ongoing adverse weather conditions across the country has risen to 47. 

Of these, 37 fatalities occurred within the past two days, while 21 people remain missing amid the continuing disaster situation.

The DMC added that a total of 5,893 individuals from 1,729 families have been affected by the severe weather.
