Colombo, March 5 (Daily Mirror) - Daisy Forrest, also known as 'Daisy Achchi', the grandmother of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son, Yoshitha Rajapaksa, was released on bail by the Kaduwela Magistrate today.

She was released by the magistrate on three sureties of Rs. 5 million each.

She was arrested after a statement being recorded by the CID this morning.

NPP government cannot do anything to big sharks. It tries to show too old people or too young people like sprats to keep its impatient followers happy and appear to do something. Although NPP leaders boasted during election campaign that they would catch US$ billion robbers and murderers, they cannot do anything. They cannot find former IGP, they cannot do anything to MR and GR or RW, or NR, they have already conceded they cannot get Anju Mahendran extradited and so on. What NPP leaders should do is to resign now.
