Colombo, May 23 (Daily Mirror) - The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has arrested three individuals, including a Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Motor Traffic for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 4 million.

According to the Bribery Commission, the arrests were made during a special raid carried out by CIABOC officers at the Department’s premises earlier today.

If police resources are wasted to nab these corrupt people, impose the most severe penalties on them as lots of police hours were spent in getting evidence.
